The EGL Eagle Global Logistics campus consists of four buildings and a parking garage totaling 500,000 sf. The facilities are dedicated to office, warehouse, and distribution.
Metzger Construction Company has also completed air freight operations centers for EGL in Austin and San Antonio.
Lynxs Houston Cargoport
Completed in November 2002, this 160,000 sf cargo facility is located on-airport, giving clients convenient access to Bush Intercontinental Airport. Key features include column-free warehouse space for flexibility and free-flowing cargo, dock-high doors on land-side, grade-level doors on airside, depth of 165 feet, and build-to-suit office configuration for maximum efficiency.
Aspen Manufacturing Co.
This building features 10,000 sf of office space and 121,000 sf of manufacturing space. The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were designed to meet the special requirements of the owner’s equipment. The manufacturing area is built on an isolated concrete slab designed to support this heavy equipment.
The exterior features a profile of the Aspen mountains, using layers of metal panels.
