Teas Crossing Medical Office Building
In January Metzger Construction Company will break ground on the new Teas Crossing MOB in Conroe. The 25,000 sf interior will include medical imaging rooms, exam and treatment rooms and offices and meeting areas. The tilt wall construction will be finished with textured paint, stone and glass.
Conroe, Texas – December 2010
Conroe Medical Office Building – Saddler Clinic
Metzger Construction Company began work on the Saddler Clinic building in December 2010. The new four story medical building is a tilt wall design with brick and glass exterior finishes. The project includes buildout of the entire 100,000 sf interior. The building will contain medical imaging suites, exam and treatment rooms, office buildings and meeting rooms. The building will continue Saddler’s expansion in the Conroe area.
Houston, Texas – December 2010
Cyrus One West Certified LEED Silver

The Cyrus One West Campus building was recently certified LEED Silver. The building was certified under the LEED 2009 for Core & Shell Rating System. The building designers were Duane Bradshaw Architects and Chuck Prichard Consulting. The LEED certification documentation was done by Kirksey Architects. This is the first Core & Shell to be certified in Houston under the 2009 Rating System and it is the second datacenter to be certified in Houston. This is Metzger Construction’s 6th LEED certified building.

In December 2009 Metzger Construction completed work on the new west side campus. The two story, 100,000 sf tilt wall facility contains over 55,000 sf of data center floor space in addition to office and disaster recovery space for numerous corporations. The building is owned by Panattoni Development.

The equipment yard has future space for at least 12 backup generators and 3 chiller plants. The interior data center spaces are cooled by both DX and chilled water systems. Data and office spaces are housed on both floors. The shell was completed in October 2009 and the first floor interior spaces by December 2009. Two more data floors on the second floor were completed in 2010.

Woodlands, Texas – October 2010
St. Luke’s Way Medical Office Building
In October 2010 Metzger began work on the new St. Luke’s Way MOB in the Woodlands. This 25,000 tilt wall building will house medical imaging rooms, exam and treatment rooms with offices and meeting areas.
Conroe, Texas – August 2009
Mercan City Place – Sadler Clinic
Metzger Construction recently completed a 3 story 60,000 sf medical office building in Conroe for the D’Agostino Companies of Conroe. The 8.2 million dollar project includes site work, shell, and interior buildout. Located near I-45, the project was started in November 2008 and completed in August 2009. The interior build-to-suit includes medical offices, exam rooms and a full imaging center. The project will expand Sadler Clinic’s presence in the Conroe area.
Austin, Texas and Lewisville, Texas – July2009
Cyrus One
Metzger Construction completed data center space buildouts for Cyrus One in Austin and Lewisville. The data centers will host servers and computer infrastructure for a large number of top companies from around the country. The interior work includes installing large scale MEP infrastructure and computer flooring as well as data recovery space for Cyrus One tenants. The work also includes site and concrete work for exterior backup generators, fuel tanks, chillers and other gear.
Woodlands, Texas – May 2009
Petroleum Wholesale Corporate Headquarters
In May 2009 Metzger Construction completed a 63,000 sf headquarters building for Petroleum Wholesale. The 3 story building is clad in glass and granite. Metzger Construction began the site and shell work in August 2008 and completed the project in May 2009.
Tomball, Texas – January 2009
Tomball Medical Office Building, LEED Certified

In January 2009 Metzger completed the Tomball Medical Office Building in Tomball, Texas. The project was constructed for Tom Pisula Development and is designed by Brown Penland and McGregor Architects. The two story steel frame office building is clad in stone and textured concrete. This LEED certified project utilizes solar panels on the roof to capture environmentally friendly electrical power for tenant and core building use. The design maximizes exposure to sunlight for interior spaces and uses energy efficient electrical HVAC and plumbing fixtures throughout.

Pinecroft Phase 4 – Sadler Clinic
In January 2009 Metzger Construction completed a 4 story office building and 6 story garage for Tom Pisula Development. The 4 story building consisted of a 3 story tilt wall shell with a fourth story steel structure top floor. The exterior finished included stone, glass and texture painted concrete. The buildout included floor operatory suite with 7 operating rooms. It also included medical office space, a full imaging center and a Linear Accelerator Vault (LINAC) with 5’-8’ thick concrete walls. The project also included an adjacent 6 story, 170,000 sf pre-cast concrete garage. The 18 million dollar project began in November 2007 and was completed in January 2009.
